Somebody at some bar in Baltimore already did this and I respect them for it. Buffalo sauce and crab sounds like a dare, but the tangy heat cuts through the rich crab dip like it was designed for it. This is the one you make for the playoff game, when subtlety has left the building.

Steps
Heat oven to 425°F. If using frozen pretzels, bake them through first.
Fold together the crabmeat, cream cheese, mayo, buffalo sauce, and Old Bay. Go gentle on the crab.
Brush the pretzels with melted butter and place on a parchment-lined sheet.
Pile the buffalo crab mixture onto each pretzel. Top with mozzarella and blue cheese crumbles.
Bake 8-10 minutes until bubbly and lightly browned.
Drizzle with extra buffalo sauce, scatter scallions, and serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
Tips from the test kitchen
Use a real buffalo wing sauce (the cayenne-vinegar-butter kind), not plain hot sauce. The butter in it matters.
The blue cheese is divisive. Put it on half the batch and let the crowd sort itself out.
This reheats surprisingly well in an air fryer: 375°F for 4 minutes.
